NOTE: Each of the four segments are taken individually and are recognized per segment. A certificate is provided once each segment is completed indicating class title and acknowledging completion of 14 in person hands-on hours.

A 50-hour recognition and transcript are only given once student has completed all 42 hours of live hands-on work with instructor present in the room plus the additional 8 hours of one-on-one training. These 8 hours focus on what each student needs help with and is tailored to them. This may be but is not limited to the following: 1. Corrections and coaching in SOAP Note notation towards the completion of 30 1-hour sessions given and recorded in SOAP Note format; 2. Q&A about reflexology field, ethics, business, and structuring; 3. Coaching, review, and testing on Anatomy and Physiology related to the field of reflexology; 4. Preparation for ARCB testing; 5. Anything else student and instructor deem necessary for the development and sustainability of a reflexology practice.
WHAT YOU WILL GET FROM THIS PROGRAM: Chantel believes in teaching through doing. You will receive a comprehensive understanding and a detailed approach to the reflexology practice. Her teaching style encourages hands-on throughout so that anatomy is not a lecture but rather a hands-on exploration, ensuring the students knowledge of where the organs, glands, and systems are in the actual body and in the reflexology map. You will learn the traditional and evolving methods, practices, and techniques that make up the art and science of reflexology,
WHO TAKES THIS COURSE: Massage therapists, Body Workers, Nurses, Yogis, Wellness Practitioners, and anyone interested in learning the powerful art and practice of reflexology.
NATIONAL BOARD CERTIFICATION: If you are interested in becoming a national board-certified reflexologist, completion of a program with at least 200 hours is required. This program provides you with 50 live, hands-on hours, plus Chantel will be there for one-on-one mentorship for the 45 additional hours student is required to give sessions and write SOAP notes. According to the national board on reflexology education, students must complete the following:
  • At least 40 hours of in-person practical hands-on-feet reflexology training.
  • At least 55 hours of anatomy and biomechanics
  • At least 60 hours in reflexology and mapping, critical thinking (including client assessments and session plans, application and theory, and developments in the field), professional business practices, theory and scientific studies,
  • 30 hours that indicate completion of 30 reflexology sessions provided to others outside of class and written SOAP note documentation on said sessions that make up 15 hours.
  • This makes up a total of 155 verifiable hours and 45 hours outside of classroom hours, making up a 200 hour program.
  • If you complete the 42 hours of in person training, 8 hours of one-on-one online mentorship, and complete and turn in 30 written SOAP notes, you will receive a transcript indicating 95 hours.
  • Student will be required to receive and complete 105 hours in anatomy and physiology, reflexology and mapping, critical thinking (including client assessments and session plans, application and theory, and developments in the field), professional business practices, theory and scientific studies, If the student is a nurse, massage therapist, or has completed training in anatomy and physiology, they may be eligible to use those transcripts and some of those hours towards their certification.
  • Chantel has online programs she recommends for completion of the other hours needed. Contact Chantel to ask any questions you have about this program, ARCB requirements, and what programs she recommends.
50 HOURS WITH CHANTEL + 45 HOURS TOWARDS CERTIFICATION:
If you decide to use these 50 hours towards becoming national board-certified and utilize Chantel's 8-hour one-on-one time, she will be there throughout the process of you doing and writing your SOAP notes for the reflexology sessions required for national board certification.

You will receive a breakdown and transcript for the following time. The below hours will provide you with 95 hours towards the 200 hours required for national board certification. The additional hours can be acquired through another live or online program, past or present anatomy and physiology education as part of another program as one might get in massage therapy or nursing. If you are interested in completing the 200 hours, taking the American Reflexology Certificate Board (ARCB) exam, Chantel has other online reflexology programs she recommends that would be a compliment to what you learn in person with her.

  • 40 hours of hands-on reflexology (in live in person classes with me)
  • 10 hours of instruction; including but not limited to: reflexology mapping, anatomy, practitioner biomechanics, theory and scientific studies, critical thinking, and SOAP note notation. This education is received during live sessions and deepened and clarified during one-on-one mentoring sessions. During the one-on-one mentorship, Chantel will also go through each student's SOAP notes to ensure they student understands how to do them and prepare them for the ARCB.
  • 45 hours: Chantel will guide you through and make certain your SOAP notes are up to par and in accordance with what is required on the national level. These 45 hours constitute "outside of classroom" hours
    • 30 one-hour reflexology sessions will be given by student.

Benefits of Reflexology

  • Reflexology is a non-invasive technique that helps support the body's natural healing process.
  • By applying pressure to specific points on the hands and feet, reflexology aids in the reduction of tension and stress, promotes relaxation, aids in the detoxification, and helps improve circulation.
  • Studies have shown its effectiveness in various conditions like migraines, digestive disorders, PMS, high blood pressure and blood sugar, and more.
  • The techniques stimulate the complex neural pathways linking body systems, supporting the body’s efforts to function optimally.
  • While massage addresses the exterior structures, reflexology addresses internal structures that cannot be addressed in a general massage session.

Reflexology for Yogis

Chantel's Reflexology for Yogis workshop has been taught all over the country. This class began as a labor of love in New York City in the Summer of 2009 and has been taught coast to coast and in between ever since!

"I took an intro to Reflexology module through my yoga studio, and I can't recommend Chantel enough. It is so refreshing when you encounter a healer who is truly working from their heart, and are dedicated to their work, and to share their teachings. Watching her do reflexology on my fellow students was like watching a musician play their instrument, completely in the moment, fluid, heartfelt. Her warm demeanor, and articulate and relatable way of explaining things make her an exceptional educator. I've taken many trainings, yoga and other healing modalities, and she is truly one of the best!" ~ Natasha S.
