Holistic Self-Care Mentoring is a one-on-one mentorship that utilizes different somatic, holistic, and complementary practices to facilitate one's healing process.
Mentoring can be done in person or online.
This work is very specific. It is based on what you are working on and through. I am there to facilitate a space for your healing process to unfold. What we discover during our sessions will lead us into what self-care tools and methods are best for you.
Some of the methods we may explore:
No-Mind. Learning to empty the mind. A method that helps you to release your ideas of what you think is “wrong” with you and any so-called disruption or diagnosis that is limiting your life and hindering your health and well-being.
Glass Full. After emptying out what is limiting or harmful to you, you will learn to fill the mind with what is actually true. This involves discovering alternative perspectives that reside within you and employing systems that activate and actuate the desired shift in self and experience.
Happy Cells, Tissues, & Thoughts, Oh My! Understanding the trauma that may be living in your mind and body. You will learn exercises to help release habitual negative thought patterns. We clean out what may be holding on or residing dormant within, then we retrain for healthy connections that necessitate new positive patterns and outcomes.
Cultivating Intuition. Empowering you to discover your innate wisdom and intuition. This process takes you gently and deeply into your core self. You will learn to calm the noise and chatter in your mind and instead invite in a clear voice that enables the evolution of your spirit. Listening to this inner wisdom will be key for continued support and nurturing of self.
Alignment. Aligning your energy with self as well as with others, your community, the environment, and the greatest good.
Self-Care Reflexology. Reflexology techniques for hands and feet specifically designed for your needs.
Intuitive Reiki Readings. Sessions given to you at a distance that aim to soften, unblock, or awaken what needs tending to.
Reiki & Energetic Clearing. This work is brought in to help clear the layers of trauma or dis-ease that may exist in or inhabit your auric field. This is sometimes referred to as psychic muck. It consists of other's energy, events, or thought forms outside of self. We clear it away because it is not yours to hold. We clear it away because it can later create physical, psychological, or systematic problems. I provide sessions to begin the process then teach you how to continue to do this for yourself. The aura self-care techniques will help to clean what is old and held and then expand the auric field to a more radiant and health-filled state.
Foot Reading Session. A system of looking at specific clues in your feet that tell a story of your life, including patterns and blockages that can be addressed. You will receive a report in PDF format on our findings with 3-5 tools to take into your life and self-care practice.
Mudra Therapy. You will learn mudras (hand and finger positions) to utilize in your self-care and meditation practices that address what you are working on.
Taoist Internal Exercises. You will learn exercises that can help free up blockages or dis-eases that may be hindering your healing process.
Meditation. You will learn a meditation (or meditations) that best suit you and your lifestyle. This meditation (s) will be learned and practiced in our sessions so that you feel comfortable taking it into your life.
Anatomy & Physiology (I) or A&P (I). You will learn some anatomy and physiology (physically, emotionally, and energetically). This knowledge is a critical piece to clarifying and reclaiming your health and deeply understanding the intricacies of your human experience, inside and out. This knowledge, coupled with your growing trust in your intuition, will enable you to make healthful choices based on the awakening to the resources you discover within you.
Anatomy & Physiology (II) or A&P (II). You will learn about the parts of the brain responsible for memory, mood, addictive behaviors, pleasure/pain, and emotional processing. This will be a critical piece for those who struggle with trauma and addiction.
